This juicy question is probably one of the most important questions to have a good, solid biblical answer for—and doing so requires some careful study.
In week two of our salvation-focused discipleship class, we will explore this question together.
Maybe you have already thought about this question before, or maybe you even have a good answer to give in response, but the goal of our class is to see what the Bible says about this question.
Now, obviously, I don't want to give you the answer to the question here (otherwise, why would you want to join the class??), but I do want to get you thinking about some of the challenges related to answering this question.
For those of you who would answer this question with a YES, here is what I'd ask: Can you ever really have any true assurance of salvation if, in fact, you can lose it?
And (I'll throw in one more question), how many times could someone go back & forth between losing and re-gaining their salvation??
As for those of you who would answer this question with a NO, here is what I'd ask: How do you explain the many real examples of people who made a profession for Christ or said they were saved, yet walked away from Jesus?
Well, I think we will have our work cut out for us in class this week!
See you on Monday, November 21st at 3 PM OR Thursday, November 24th at 7 PM.
If you already signed up for the Monday 14 or Thursday 17 class, you are already signed up for this coming week. However, if you haven't signed up yet... here is your chance. Click the button below >
