Hello South Calgary Family! Please check this important information regarding our Sunday Service on December 24.
Just in case you haven’t noticed yet, this year, Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. Ouch! And that brings us some challenges since we should have two services on the same day. For instance, the number of volunteers for worship, media, sound, livestream, basically doubles. It is not uncommon for volunteers to be unavailable due to visiting relatives or friends on that day.
Also, some of our members will have to decide which service fits better into their schedule, and we could end up dividing our congregation instead of providing an opportunity to celebrate Christmas together.
So, after much consideration among our leadership and staff, we have decided to have only our Christmas Eve Service at 6 pm and suspend our Sunday Morning Service on December 24.
The upcoming week, after December 24, will be the last day of the year, and we will have our regular Sunday Morning Service at 10:15 am.
